Had a letter fo sky today offering the Max package for £10 a month, no activation fee, unlimited usage(fup), free wireless router.

Is it as good as it sounds? i'm currently paying tiscali £14.99 for unlimited 2Mb. Is anyone already using the sky broadband? is it reliable? My parents have TalkTalk which is supposed to be 8Mb aswell but its closer to 56k dial up (no joke)

Check out skyuser for other peoples experiences, its a great resource for all things Sky.
I'm on Sky Broadband (Mid) £5/month package, after a shaky start its working very well, I'm getting 8mbps.
First thing to do is find out if its available on your exchange via the Sky Broadband website.
Remember its always UP TO 16mbps, what you actually get depends on your distance from the exchange, noise on your line etc..That gum you like is coming back in style.0
