Santander credit card guaranteed acceptance??!

Just a word of warning with the Santander Credit Card Online banking, if you pay by direct debit, make sure they are taking the money each month. I had a problem for 5 months where I had to keep phoning up, because even though the direct debit was set-up they weren't taking the money.

Every month I had to get late fees revoked and delete the DD and get it set-up again. Most annoying thing was the fact I was paying from a Santander current account!

I also had to get my credit report amended to remove any late payments. I got about £75 credit from them all in all, but just a word to be wary as for the first few months the DD worked fine and then just stopped.

Also, online payment can be dodgy as well!

Thanks Angela I usually pay via Internet banking so I can see if it hits their account my old cap one card accepted faster payments so was usually on my account in 24 hours
