Don't expect these to be paid before September's pay day on the 10th, if they do then great but I doubt it.
As you're now acting as ESA's self-appointed spokesman, perhaps you can point to the bit in the job spec where it says all of this?0 -
I agree with BG close date online at the mo is 27th and their turnover date is 1st August for payment 10th. Not a chance.0

I'm not acting as a spokesman for anyone, It's called experience.
The due date is 27th the cut off for payment in August is 31st July.
I've never had an early payment of expenses from ESA, that's not to say it won't happen but I'd highly doubt it.
Having lost of money tied up in reimbursements is part of the job and it was clear on the job spec that we'd have to fund the ticket cost and it was clear (or you could look it up) that you may have to buy some expensive tickets, by doing the job you agreed to those terms, if you can't afford to lay out the cash then you shouldn't have taken the jobs.0 -

Welcome to the world of contracting. Plan your cashflow carefully, and aim for it to cost you as little as possible. A cashback credit card can take the sting out of a lot of it, as it gives you a few weeks interest free.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

Well done. They get a bit of a hard time on here but, when you get an increased premium, for the amount of work involved, I find them unbeatable.
Hope it's not my area they needed you, cos I'm cleaning up round here0 -

Harsh, but true.
I have about £180 outstanding in tickets at the moment. When I first started out I wouldn't have been able to be without that amount of money for what will be pretty much 2 calendar months.
I've only just been paid by react for my attractions outlay of about £100.
Advice for anyone who doesn't have much in the way of cashflow, stick to low cost purchase jobs like are on Gap and MF.
Understand that I'm not trying to be an ar*ehole, but this is what we sign up for.
Peace out all... have a lovely weekend in the sun.:beer:Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

I always use my interest free credit card whenever I have any large or multiple expenditure. After reading another MSE forum, I've been stoozing (I think that's what it's called) for a while now. Have run up a large credit card bill (but at 0% interest) but have always put the same amount away in a savings account. Additionally I get supermarket points on the credit card so it's a win win.
In the words of Martin Lewis, as long as I pay off my credit card, IN FULL, when it's due, it will have cost me nothing and in fact will have made me a little profit0
