Yes they aren't the easiest of assignment to write up. It can get a bit monotonous.

Look at it this way though. How much did you save on entrance tickets? food? Its a family day out which we know can be expensive and also with that client you are gaining some reputation.

Exactly. Couldn't have afforded to go otherwise, so was a good day out and worth it. Just never seen a questionnaire quite like it before, found it hard not to race around trying to fit everything in that was required. So all very, very tired by the end of the day but happy :).

Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Does any one have any advice with regards to MSing and jury duty? Im in limbo as they haven't decided whether or not I'm needed but I cannot allocate any work as I don't wont to de-allocate if I cant to it.

Jurys rarely start before 10 and will usually finish 4.30 latest. You also get an hour lunch break. Obviously no weekend sitting. You might be able to fit a few assignments around that. At the start of jury selection the judge will give you an indication what how long the trial is likely to last.

A route of 12 mini supermarkets sounded like a great idea on Friday, the visits were a doddle, I am looking at 7 more reports to do and I'm stuck for any more ways of saying the member of staff was happy and smiling.
