Thing is, I wouldn't mind if they paid well

Agreed the MS Rates are a total joke, but if you can get onto some of the Audit Projects they are the best of the best. (Well I think so)

This is why Tern are one of the best companies to work for -

Weekend camping trip done last weekend.
    Report completed on Monday morning.
Report proof read and one point corrected on Monday afternoon.
Report feedback sent Tuesday morning and job signed off.
    Payment advise sent Thursday Morning.

I have no doubt that payment will be in my account tomorrow.

I managed even better today -
    Did job this morning
    Did report about 3pm
    Had feedback about 4pm
Had notification of payment at 4:30

    I like Tern :)
  • Thanks Furnival, I've just written to the company to find out if they are compatible with Mac laptops as there is only mention of them working with PCs.

Ha!! I think I would forget to turn them on too, I get so nervous before some shops.

I've heard back from the company and these audio recorders are't compatible with Mac laptops so back to the drawing board. If anyone has any other recommendations for audio equipment I would really appreciate it. I looked at the PVLite video gear and it is a bit out of my price range!

If you can get away with being casual enough I use my phone and hang my headphones around my neck. The microphone on the headphones picks up the sound really well.

Ooh, Helion Pay. A disappointingly small number thanks to a proof reader being a pain, but still.

    Any predictions on bare pay?

Paypal payments should be today at some stage, but I wouldn't be surprised if they held them back till Monday.
