There are a whole host of reasons why a product will be removed from the shelf, there is nothing special or sinister about it, it's just an assignment like any other. You do it and you get paid.
The only thing to bear in mind is that you may have to spend a lot of money upfront buying the various items, you have to be able to transport it from the shop to home or where ever you are going to store it and then have somewhere to put the stuff until you get told how to dispose of it.
It was a good job I paid with my credit card for the last buy back as it cost me a couple of hundred quid in purchases alone, If I did pay on my debit card, then it would left me with no money at all.
There was one buyback where I visited 4 stores and only purchased 3 items and that didn't affect my cashflow as it cost me about a fiver. TBuyback is a good way of getting young ones a good credit score by paying MS assignments by cc and paying back when ms pay you.0 -
Also like to comment that got the audio file sorted.
Before this, I only received 3 of the 4 documents I needed for the assignment. I went back into the shop 20 mins later (needed my caffeine fix as appt was 9am) and the staff were useless, So where I was supposed to put this scanned image, I put a PDF saying the staff were useless and didn't know what I was talking about!0 -
Janet at The Silent Customer is still looking for mystery diners:
Urgent drink pub visit in CM20 with fee.
Reimbursements (but generous) for food led pubs in SG14, SG11, SG12, SG4. I'm will pay travel for the SG's if anyone can go next weekend. Other food led pub visits also in TW18 and TW16.

I've worked for Janet before and would not hesitate to recommend her company. It's like the good old days of MSing, when the agency knew your name and not just your number0 -
Mystery shoppers are in possession of commerically sensitive information all the time, so regardless of the assignment the requirement for discretion should be adhered to.
FWIW anything that is really damaging regarding health or safety etc that warrants a product recall or an alert by the food standards agency is all in the public domain.

Some nice boozers there Amber, I have had the privilege of being thrown out of one or two in my time down south :-)0 -

I did some of those last year when the fee was larger. They seem to have broken down the audit list into several pieces and put a really small fee on each. And you can only have one, so not as if you can even group them together. Four MS'ers using their petrol and time for that
A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work0 -
Surely no one will take them? There are way too many companies dropping their fees at the moment and this is just a joke!0
