Has anyone else had issues with Gap reducing fees after you've completed the assignment?

I've made a point of only doing premium assignments for them and I took a burger job with double the normal fee. Did the job a couple of weeks ago, had one query from the person who checks the reports.

Just checked my list of completed assignments and noticed the fee has gone down to the normal standard lunch/dinner fee!

    How can they do this??
An email to Gap should resolve that.

Has anybody been paid by the Irish firm for the toy shops?

Mine has landed this morning. It's been a couple of months since I did the shop in question.

    Catalyst late paying, again?
Last time I did any work for them I had to wait 10 weeks and then they paid by cheque.

I did one shop for them many moons ago. I was very surprised when they paid me as I had totally forgotten all about it. It was 3 months after I had done the visit.

RA drug visits payment in bank tomorrow. :D

I did an eating one for MF and it did tell me to order 2 drinks from a list of 6-7. For one of the drinks, I did receive what I ordered, but it was put on the receipt as a different item (though costing the same) and they wanted me to submit a new receipt!

I did upload the same receipt again explaining I did not notice the error until later on and staff make mistakes!

If I get the report flagged again, what do I need to do? I am guessing this is not the first time this has happened on any MS report.

It happens all the time, the proof reader must flag it up and get a response from you, it then goes to the allocator who 99/100 pass it with no problem.
  • Hi all. New to the forum (so be kind). Just started doing some report mystery shops for DS. All seems to be going well. Paid on time and they've offered me more work. Looking into couple others to work for as well at the moment. Quite enjoying mystery shopping! Thanks

When do DS pay? I've started doing some work for them and haven't been paid yet, although I started under a month ago so it depends on when their pay date is.

DS's payday is the last working day of the month.

You know you're a tightwad when....

You find it hard to spend £25 of the client's own money because everything's so expensive compared to where you normally shop.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?
