  • Those Bank assignments that everyone says the 'easy bank jobs' well seems to me they have caught on, the fee has dropped. Also noticed that Gap's old coffee client is using customer feedback surveys instead to gauge feedback, this is becoming quite common now, where customers would be entered into a monthly competition.

Fees have been dropping for a while, they'll go up when people stop taking them, look at the car visits to see who they up their fees when no one takes them.

Companies switch around, very few use MS full time, comment cards have been around for years and have never replaced good, targeted mystery shopping as a feedback tool.
  • I hate the questions on the ESA frozen shops, surely no one on earth can be this daft. On this scenario have they purposely got the brand name wrong? As far as I know this brand don't make that product.

Doing a separate shop keeps my mind on the job, so I can concentrate on observing rather than what I'm having for tea on tuesday (male - can't multitask!).

Wouldn't say I've got a fancy dress shop in the back, but I can change my appearance enough not to look like the same person at a glance, which puts me a bit more at ease if I'm doing a lot of the same client (eg phones or banks) on the same day.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Have GFK lost the one of the easy transaction clients or are they just not doing them anymore? Not seen any this month and don't think I did in Jan either.

Signed up with a coupe of MS firms and getting reasonably regular stuff. Extended this to GR last week - and have been offered not a single job by them in the whole week. Are they a dead loss?

I am lucky to get 1 assignment offered to me a month by GR and even then someone usually gets in before me and applies for it!
