Just checked my UKIMS account and in my pay details it says the below. Hmm, I only did 4 visits. Do you think they will actually pay me this amount? LOL.

    Total Pay £248,730.60

  • Just watched the news and heard that the well-known camera chain that gets mystery shopped by ESA is going bust. So that's yet another empty shop on the high street, hundreds of people out of work and another MS job gone for us :(

and not to mention the governments "clamping down on VAT loophole" which means that play.com has shut its retail operations putting 147 staff in jersey out of jobs and 67 in cambridge and bristol offices, what a great start to the year for them
any amount lost in vat was made up for in PAYE tax, corporation tax, postage sales, ...
so short sighted of the government
where are the 147 jersey jobs gonna spring up overnight ? massive impace on their economy, and what about the uk staff???so thats more in benefits going out to them instead

You'll excuse me if I don't shed a tear for them, their whole business model was based on a loophole that put the high street at a huge disadvantage, I wonder how many Pay and Amazon have put on the dole in the last few years.

I agree with you BG in regards to the big wigs at the top of the play.com food chain. But I do feel for the rest of them who are probably earning little more than minimum wage as order pickers who financially aren't able to pick and choose the company they work for.
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
