I had an experience today.
I was in the queue waiting to pay for my 4 items.
The lady in front of me had a full trolley of shopping.
Then the cashier said to the lady before me can that man go before you he's only got a few items which was about 6 . He he was behind me as he had not even joined a queue as he had just finished getting his shopping. So he came forward and got served before me and the lady in front of me. He appeared he was wearing XXX (the store I was in) uniform and looks like he was an XXXX(the store I was in) delivery driver.0 -

Hi all, I'm new to MS'ing and I had my second assignment today. It was a disaster!
It was at a fast food establishment and the place was incredibly busy, I was so focused on trying to time everything correctly using a stopwatch app on my phone, without letting anyone see what I was doing, that I forgot to ask for a receipt! The instructions say that if you forget then you should just go back and ask for one but it was so busy I'd have been too embarassed to just push my way back to the counter.
I just had a look at the report process and it seems that it is impossible to pass without a receipt, so I have rescheduled and I'm going to try again tomorrow. I'd have been spending the same amount of money on lunch anyway so I supposed I'm not really making a loss, but it's bloody annoying.0 -
Same thing happened to me last month, when I was doing a job with a juicy premium, on a Saturday when the place was full to bursting with kids and families. I realised once I sat down to eat that I'd forgotten to ask for the receipt and could have kicked myself. I asked one of the staff members who was cleaning tables to get it for me while I was eating rather than try to push back in at the counter. They were very helpful and naturally at that point the floor show started with balloons, tray carrying, talking to kids/family etc. I explained the situation in the report and was paid ok for the assignment.0

School boy error. Don't worry about it. Just reschedule.
Mistakes tend to put you in good stead for future assignments, as you tend not to make the same mistake again. And you'll find after a few visits that everything becomes very natural. Good luck in your future assignments0 -
samtastic. I see you must have received a punctuation kit for Christmas. Nice one. It makes a heck of a difference, and I can almost work out what the !!!! you're saying now. Almost ;o)
Well done you. Your proofreaders will appreciate it too.0 -
I totally forgot the receipt on my first fast food job haha. Don't think I've done it since though.0
