You missed out Human league and Shakatak, 2 bands that are still going strong with original line ups and who tour all the time,
I still go to watch them both live as often as possible.
The league I will see live again for the umpteeth time in Dec and shakatak in feb next year (if not before)
In answer to your question, I still listen to 80s music all the time
And to the poster above Hue and Cry supported Human League a couple of years ago0 -
I still have a Hue and Cry CD in the car, and a couple of Paul Weller CDs.
I now listen to
Elbow
Maroon 5
Adele
Ameli Sandes
Plan B
I have all the Live Lounge Cds and the Dermot O'Leary ones.
I think I have moved with the times.
My 15 year old DD likes all of my music (over 250 cds) from Nina Simone to the modern stuff.
(She sometimes says she doesn't , but then starts singing along):rotfl:0
