I just seen the Tesco deals and was thinking the better deals might be now as the prices may go up nearer Christmas.
Thought about waiting a bit and going instore to try and negotiate a deal for buying three at once but I'm not very keen n the likes of PC world so scrapped that idea.
Where is the best place to look for refurb ones please Gunjack. I might need a better spec for the older kids' at uni. Not sure what exactly they want to do on them.
Thanks.
Computer price would only go down. It never goes up.0 -

But Cisco001 tells us that there are not many laptop under even £250..... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4173011£200 will get you a lot of refurb laptop, and probably less will be more than sufficient for the uses you've quoted.0 -

C-60 cpu from tesco too slow. I have a look at those from pcworld. None of them worth considering when compare to £280 Asus recommended by Asus from m5rcc0 -

problem with the medion one is the intel hd3000 graphics which although should be mostly ok for football manager 2012 (although probably not in high settings) it will struggle with a lot of other games and could struggle with football manager 2013
the £280 Asus would be a good call and shouldnt have any problems with the majority of games
although the envy would be better value if you have no problems with the cashback - but of course if you did have problems with cashback then it wouldnt be better valueDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
thanks for the advice, to be honest i only run football manager with the basic settings and not the 3d pitch feature or any of that jazz, the only other processor heavy program i would use from time to time would be photoshop0
