Floorboards or Carpet in bedroom?

Hi,
I am doing up my home, planning on selling in a year and a half.
It's a victorian terrace, I'm going back to original flooboards in the 2 downstairs reception rooms and hallway, tiles in the kitchen.
I'm leaving the stairs, landing and 2 bedrooms carpeted but am thinking about refurbing the original floorboards in the master bedroom.
Would you prefer the master bedroom with solid wood floors or carpet?
Thanks a lot!

Carpets for me!0

I think it depends on the size, i would prefere carpet in a smaller room to make it feel 'cosy' and floorboards in a larger room as you could put a lovely shaggy rug down for your tootsies at the side of the bed without it looking like it swamps the room0

Carpets for me too. I currently live in a Victorian terrace and whilst I can see that floorboards would look nice, I only want my tootsies on fluffy floors in the middle of the night!
Plus floorboards upstairs is really noisyWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
well there's about 3.5 foot each side of the bed and same at the end of the bed.
the rooms a bit bigger than it sounds as the bed's up against the chimney0 -
I have rugs on my floorboards - it's not too draughty!0

Carpets, you will be stepping onto it is bare feet sometimes and floorboards can be surprisingly drafty.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

If you do decide on floorboards then a little trick to use to seal any gaps between the boards is to collect all the dust up after sanding the floors and mix it with a bit of pva glue, this paste can then be used to seal the boards.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
