disabled parking

Richie, I agree with most of your post, but regarding 'be sole driver of the car', I disagree. I have friends with a disabled child. They have a disabled parking space outside their house and it is used for the mother's car (mum drives daughter more than dad, due to work commitments). However, both parents are insured to drive the car and sometimes dad does drive it. The space is used for their daughter's needs, though, and for the car that is used to transport her most of the time.0

Well that may depend on where you live. Older bays were just marked out and were advisory. Many of newer bays are enforceable and carry a sign. Some councils are better than others in introducing these newer enforceable onesFew people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

Fair enough kingfisherblue - it may vary by LA's as they pay.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem. Clearly this would be illegal, however the question arises in my mind - what is the penalty for painting a disabled bay on the road?0

Do you and your mum live together?0
