Quite like it, its clean and simple.

Typical advertising crap that goes with it can be found here:

Yes, I like it. A bit more professional and modern looking."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
Am now Crowqueen, MRes (Law) - on to the PhD!0 -

It's all about a logo, whoopy doo.

Actually its a good idea for a company to rebrand, it can make a huge difference to the business.
Something as simple as changing a logo can bring a company bang up to date with current trends.
It's not just ebay who do it, most businesses realise that rebranding can be VERY beneficial.0 -
To me that logo is boring, bland and uniform.
It does not say Ebay is an exciting place to buy or sell.
I prefer the more wacky logo we have already.
I will now wait and see if my sales now rocket!0 -
I think the new logo is a bit more streamlined and doesn't look so much like a toy company.
The blurb states that their market has changed over the years, and Amazon recently redesigned their site (if not their logo), so I guess they had to follow suit.
It's not really about improving sales, it's about keeping the site looking up-to-date. If they still used text-only then people would complain; if they have loads of bells and whistles people complain (particularly when they break down). But they have to keep with the times and seventeen years is a long time to keep one particular logo these days."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

To you it is but actually it is a fantastic logo in comparison to the current one.0 -
Will anybody actually notice?
Does anybody actually care?
At least i know where my fees are being spent! :rotfl:Lose is to not win......Loose is not tight......get it right!0 -
A friend posted this earlier on, if you look at it and think "I dont get it" then ebays new logo is probably of no interest to you and you don't care one way or the other.
If you look at the image and cringe you probably understand why ebay changed its logo hehe
