Yes, the Op should immediately reinstate the telephone connections on his Digiboxes.Reason the phoneline is required is to stop a customer having a box in his house & the second box being in your moms house down the street,her getting that box for only £10 a month instead of full price.0 -
You can also buy a freesat style card from sky or ebay - mine cost £10 and put that in you sky box, channels are limited but there is no subscription to pay that way0

Not too long ago I was given free an HD plus box from SKY, it said for loyalty, didnt cost me anything as long as I self installed it within 28 days Give them a ring see if you can blag one that way.
I still have my old one sat in a box, one day I'll put it on ebay.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
