New Argos Credit Card 29.9%APR - Guess who's issuing it?

I notice that the Argos Credit Card which is issued by Vanquis Bank have raised the APR to 39.9% from 29.9%. Nice one, what a lovely surprise for their cardholders.:T

Hi, not quite sure what you mean, do you mean if you apply for this credit card which is essentially a Vanquis, then Vanquis will do the credit search.
But I took out an Argos store card and they definitely credit checked me with Experian; a full credit check:o
