New Argos Credit Card 29.9%APR - Guess who's issuing it?

I notice that the Argos Credit Card which is issued by Vanquis Bank have raised the APR to 39.9% from 29.9%. Nice one, what a lovely surprise for their cardholders.:TYou may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0

Argos don't do Credit checks on you, as the searches don't show on your account, yet they still put the account on your file...
Anyways, with my argos card I always manage to pay as much as I can each month.. and I've just paid of a lump sum yesterday due to the rediculess interest rates...
Hi, not quite sure what you mean, do you mean if you apply for this credit card which is essentially a Vanquis, then Vanquis will do the credit search.
But I took out an Argos store card and they definitely credit checked me with Experian; a full credit check:o0
