Issues getting deposit back from previous rental

Hello all Firstly apologies if I'm repeating previous threads, but I couldn't find a suitable one when I looked. We moved out of our old flat last month (23/08) and are due deposits back we had on the properties. The old house was managed by one company, who deal with the tenants on behalf of the landlord, who we have no…

Another update, I sent him:

Can I just confirm, if you do not hear from the landlord, your proposed amount is sent to TDS without the landlords consent? To which any deductions will be actioned and we should hopefully be getting our deposits back some time after the Wednesday?

And he's replied with:

The proposal will be sent to yourself and the relevant other tenants of the property

I don't understand why he's ending it to me! He's already sent us a list of proposed deductions. I just want it sent off to the deposit people so I can stop raiding the reduced to clear sections...
