Morning all
Hilstep take it easy!
Happy Anniversary to RR and LW.
Well it's lovely here but chilly. I am tired today after the foodbank but I have some development tasks to do and the minutes from Tuesday to type up.
I am getting on better with my crochet after buying the first issue of that magazine advertised on the telly. I can do double crochet and am about to move on to treble.....
Tea today will be the last of the lamb chops from C*stco and they are yummy.
Off to put a load of washing in the machine.
Hugs and kind thoughts to all.
Have a good day.

Good morning ladies, may I join in? I have lurked for years and commented occasionally, have recently been made redundant and now a sahm to 3 kids, hubby two dogs and 3 chickens, looking to save money and be a bit more motivated, loads of things need doing that I just didn't get round to working full time. Plans for today is library, bake some bread and some muffins. When kids get in from school a non elec day, ie no computer, wii. xbox, it will be reading, cooking, lego or colouring, lets see how that goes. Thanks for letting me join. Good days to you all

Good Morning everyone and Happy Anniversary to LW & RR and their OHs.
today is going to be a 'get rid of some of the piled up paper rubbish 'on my desk in my computer room.I feel a definite vibe of de-cluttering coming on:):).
I have no shopping to do ,got what I needed yesterday and I did the ironing yesterday as well so no more procrastinating its an over due job.
The sun is shining which may tempt me for a walk in the park later on.I say walk but its more of a slow stroll and a sit down on the bench when I feel a bit footsore.I may go down to the country park and see if I can find some blackberries, they have been well picked locally so an expedition to more rougher country is on the cards.
I hope everyone has a good day.i looked at the price of epson cartridges and nealry fell over They are more expensive than perfume I may wait until the end of the month and treat myself to a new printer insteadI don't want to buy them then find the blooming thing is still not working properly.a new printer isn't much more than a set of inks .
take care all

Morning everyone, chilly again this am , aarrgggh my back and hips now feel like someone has kicked me in the back, so hobbling round. Ds3 brought me up a cuppa at half 6 this morning , thinking it was half 7:rotfl::rotfl:. When I told him the time he just flopped onto my bed and curled up again for another hour. He may be 18 next week but he is still my baby and it was lovely to have him close enough for a cuddle.;)
Chicken curry or shepherds pie tonight , not to sure which yet. Dd put a load of washing on the line before she left for school, she is out for a meal tonight and bowling with some friends from school as it is her 15th birthday tomorrow. So must make her a cake ready for tomorrow.
Ds1 is having a ball at uni , his course doesnt start till Monday so he is making the most of socialising with his new friends. There are 7 of them and they are at the moment cooking as a group so sharing the load and the cost, which I think that as long as they all pay their share of the meal and do their share of the prep and after cleaning then it will work well.
Not to much going on otherwise. Have lovely days all:)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -
Hi peeps. Sent DH off to dangerous sandy place. Feeling rather panicky. He's only there 6 weeks, but it feels like forever. Need to focus.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Happy Anniversary Mr &Mrs Lame wolf,we share the same day.37 years for me and Dh omg how did that happen
I'm much relieved that I hadn't offended Hester;:T I do worry that I put my foot in it at times - one of the worst things about social phobia is that I appear to cope OK with the social situation, so Mr LW doesn't know I'm not, but then I spend the next 3 nights lying awake "dissecting" the conversation, wondering if I said something wrong/silly/offensive, and what did X really mean by the comment they made, and was Y smiling or wincing at what I said, kind of thing; I wish I could read people better.:o Dogs I can read; people are a mystery to me.
Talking of dogs - I really hope Maud is on the mend now.:o
We've been making elderberry wine this morning - at the stage of straining the berries off and putting the liquid into demijohns to ferment.;)
Anyways, I have a DH waiting for me to finish checking my email, so I must away.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Morning all, sunny here although there's definitely a nip in the air. Work has ground to a halt as I need more information to carry on with it, but pick up a new project tomorrow so still feeling a bit better about my depleted funds getting sorted.
WM on and am taking a tea break from cleaning upstairs. Have a very dear friend coming for dinner and overnight this evening so want her to be comfoortable. She's vegetarian so am going to do peppers, courgettes, onions and mushroom in passata with garlic and oregano. Probably serve with cous cous or pasta.
Lunch will be bread and some of the wonderful smelly french cheese I brought back.
I am trying to work on getting out of the habit of feeling stressed and rushed all the time. I thought the holiday would break it, but can feel the adrenaline levels rising as normal life picks up again. It's just a habit......the major problems of the last few months are pretty much resolved. Have cut down on caffeine to try to help, but now have that caffeine deprived headache. It will pass.
Have a good day and hope all your problems are resolving.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.' T S Eliot0 -
Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Rosyred
Welcome nik
cat_smith positive vibes hun ((((Hugs)))) it must always be a worry x
I was naughty this morning and bought six packs of eight of pour and store bags for 60p each and DH insisted on buying me the hand blender that had been reduced from £12.99 to £6.99my old one broke last month and as he loves HM soup in the winter he insisted. I do have the big goblet blender but the hand one is easier to clean.
HM sweet and sour chicken and noodles tonight with pancake rolls.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

A sunny good aftrnoon all,
firstly a welcome to nik0510.
Happy wedding anniversaries Mr and Mrs LameWolf and Mr and Mrs RosyRed! I hope all 4 of you have a lovely day and evening together.
Day 2 on the antibiotics and i feel so sick. I hope i start to feel better soon as ive got another 5 days worth of tablets to take.
My pampered pooches are on high alert. I have workmen digging up my front garden. Finally, the electricity board are putting our electricity cables underground. For years we have been complaining about the safety aspect of the cables overhead and we have had them replaced twice in 10 years so now they have finally listened. The groundsworkers are digging up the garden as i type.
Mr Judi is not in my good books as he made a derogatory comment on Facebook about my daughters charity work and then tried to gloss over it as being a joke.... I dont think so! As things stand now, he's deactivated his account and asked me to to permenantly delete it (he doesnt know how to).
Not much to do in the house today, just as well really cause i dont feel like doing anything.
Have a super sunny day all! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
HI guys,
Finally got on here today. Had a good night's sleep, and had a bath last night thanks to my bath lift and a black bag over my shoulder!:rotfl:
I don't feel too bad, just a bit fragile at the moment.:o
OH and I are also going through a bit of a crisis moment. This accident has brought things to a head between us, I have sent him away today to have a good long think.:o
Anyway, won't bother you all with my woes any longer.:rotfl:
See you all tomorrow!I Believe in saving money!!!:T
