Sky - Am I paying too much?

Options
Hi

Like everyone else, I am trying to reduce costs where possible. I have had sky for a few years now, but seem to be paying more than ever.
My current monthly bills looks like this:
£24 for TV - includes Entertainment package
£7.50 - Unlimited Broadband
£3 - McAfee Anti Virus
£12.25 - Sky Line Rental

Does this look average and does anybody have tips on how to reduce? What channels would I lose if i got rid of the enterainment pack, and would this really reduce my bill?
:money:

thank you

Why are you paying £3 for Crapaffe? You can get a decent AV programme for free.

Entertainment is £21.50, have you also got Entertainment + ?
You can't get rid of the entertainment pack, and remain a subscriber.

Save aon line rental by paying for 12 months up front £119.40, you have to phone them for the offer.

If you want paid for AV Amazon were doing Norton NIS 2012 for £15 to cover 3 PCs yesterday.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Eh, didn't realise Crapafee was so crap! Yeah I have the entertainment + package. Great, didn't know about paying up front for line rental. Thank you
  • yup that's all you can do.

Drop mccrap (use Malwarebytes, it's free and much better)
    pay line rental upfront
    change tv sub

don't know where your phone is at or if you use it, are you getting any bills from making calls to mobiles for example?

Malwarebytes, excellent though it is, free edn is not a full AV program, It's an on demand scanner only. Only the commercial edn runs in the background
Use Avast, Avira or MSE. Or Kaspersky is free with Barclays online banking.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Ah, so you're not in contract. Well get rid of the AntiVirus first and find a free one (I think Microsoft Security Essentials is good) and then phone Sky and tell them you can't afford it and you're thinking of leaving, hopefully they'll give you a discount to stay.
