Hi i also applied for Nationwide Card but now not sure whether i will be accepted,soft seach came back with £2500 and 19.9% apr finally pressed the continue button!filled out d/d set up online banking electronic signed agreement but they said need proof of ID.It seams to me like i have got further than other people ie no refusal but its the not knowing that is the killer!

Easiest way for you to find out is to see if Nationwide set up a direct debit on your current account.

Hi i got home this eveninng to find postman had called with a letter!im thinking a big fat NO from the chief refuser but no its a yes just want id!:jSo it will be off to branch tommorrow and just wait for a prime card to build credit!:)

Would have thought any of the following:-

Drivers licence
Passport
Utility bill (mobile phone may be acceptable)
Bank statement
Birth certificate

That kind of thing, something that proves you are you and you live where you say you do.
