I'm looking to poss selling my iPhone 4s with envirofone, but I want to sign up for it this morning before the price drops after tonight's iPhone 5 launch. However if the new phone isn't that big of a step up (I've read all the rumoured new features and I'm not sure it's worth the bother) then I may just cancel selling it. According to the terms it says to contact the customer services team and if they if can cancel the sale for you they will. Does anyone know if I have a definite right to cancel if I haven't sent the phone or if it's within so many days (cooling off period?).

  • If you sell it and don't send the phone you have no problem. You also have a limited time to get the phone to them after selling it. Not sure why you'd sell to Envirofone; they may be more reliable than some but pay peanuts in my experience.

Well they seem to have the best price for the iPhone at the moment which is why I'm wanting to go with them. Was tempted to try and sell on eBay but seems like it might be hard work.
  • Cex (on-line generally pays vastly higher amounts (DON'T use their shops) although since they stopped sending out free jiffy bags (despite saying they have) I now use Ebay. It's even better and not so much hassle once you've figured it all out.

Cex is less than envirofone too but thanks for the tip. Think I'll do envirofone, can even cancel it and sell on eBay if I do that. I have used eBay but don't want to have it on eBay for a week and then it doesn't sell and I always worry about when if they get it and then it develops a fault and then you have to deal with that. Definitely want to get best price do it tho and it's a darn expensive phone I bought it outright (contract and sim free) at £600, plus it's a replacements from apple just over 2 weeks old.
