Coal Users: What price do you pay for the following

Interested in prices paid up and down the country, for 1 tonne delivered, of the following:

Bituminous:

Household
Doubles
Singles
Slack

Smokeless

Esse A
Calco Large
Calco Small
Burnglo
Cozy Flame
Hi-lite
Glo-lite
Supacite


The latter smokeless categories may be specific to the Northern Ireland market, and are basically just different variants of phurnacite.

    It's not impossible. A friend of mine pays a similar amount if he collects direct from the mine. He buys in bulk though, to fuel his boat.

    i stay in lanarkshire and pay £17.50 for a 50kg bag of Surefire (eggs)
    Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?
  • We buy 4 x 50kg bags every two weeks (lack of storage for bulk) and have just been told that, from this week, summer prices have ended and the winter price will be £79 for the 4.
    What's with this summer/winter price nonsence and why, when wholesale coal prices have fallen some 30% in the last year, is this week's price exactly the same as last year?

    Guess they wanna rob us like gas companies.

    I have changed coalman as his bags are £15. we will see how good the coal is.

    From CPL, the summer discount price for 10 x 50kg bags of Phurnacite was £209.50 - 6% more than moily's winter rate.
