Yesterday went and did my last shampoo shop to compare with tesco but when i was looking at it today it worked out £9.97 cheaper at waitrose the aussie shampoo compared at waitrose for 75p and i did not get any ambrosia rice the only thing that i did get which compared cheaper was domestos 24hour thick bleach citrus fresh 750ml asda £1.12 and waitrose 74p. Has this happened to anyone else ? i got one bleach and 5 aussie shampoos
As the T's offer finished it makes sense that it would compare with W as all the items you bought are 3 for 2. And the numbers match up0 -

I shall input the receipt and go from there, still in the spirit of Elite if it doesn't work out then I shall have to take it on the chin.
I tell you if it doesn't glitch it will be the last online shopping for Budgie.
I wasn't impressed with the delivery guy though, only had cereal in one carrybag and the others were just loose, he just dumped down his crate by my front door and didn't even offer to help me pick them up.
Very poor Asda, very poor.
Budgie xxx
Complete opposite for me, lovely lady brought the (heavy) crate into my kitchen, helped me unload, and explained about the receipt as I was a new customer. All done with a smile. In fact, I'm thinking of sticking to Asda after this all finishes, as they are so competitive in their pricing (even without the glitching!)0 -
Hi, some people have said that their online shop still compares items that were out of stock or substituted so don't despair yet, give it a few hours and check, they may compare the missing rice pot even though you didnt get it x
Thank you but its going to be a long few hours me thinks.Still I shall report in later with my findings, fingers crossed it glitches.
Its only my 2nd glitch shop too.

I suspect part of the problem is people using words like "trigger" which makes some items seem magical and different, when in reality they're simply cheap products within a set of matching products; think this might be a contributing factor to some of the miscounting that is happening (especially by newbies). Perhaps if people used language that sounds more inclusive of the cheap products then there might be fewer mistakes!
e.g.
BOGOF offers buy a multiple of 2 including a cheap one
3 for 2 offers buy a multiple of 3 including a cheap one
etc.
Totally agree, 'trigger' also implies that it's necessary for the glitch, when strictly speaking, any group of 3 within the deal will glitch, although not necessarily for a low price unless you include a cheap item. For that reason, I was going to buy some children's toothpaste rather than steradent when compiling my list for a dental shop (until somebody gave some rather good uses for steradent!)0 -
ok 7 attempted glitchy items!:p
if they had all compared it would still have forked up....
remember your 3 times tables folks!!!:D
I'm with Trouty - your wrong - she had a perfect 9 - If the Robinsons hadnt been n/a she would have got the johnsons baby cream at 32p as well. The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.0 -
These glitches all work in the same way, you simply buy 1 of the cheapest products (using the competitors prices, in this case Tesco, so you buy 1 of the biscuits) then make up the correct total number of matching items by choosing any others that match together (in this case they're BOGOF so you want an even number in total, e.g. any 1, 3, 5 or 7 of the chocolates; or get any 2 biscuits together with any 2, 4, 6 or 8 of the chocolates).
You could do it like this test that I did but there should be no need to buy so many:

Can I just clarify that the above is slightly incorrect...in that not all the glitches are working as we would want them to. Not everything on 2for1 at Ts is glitching against the cheapest item....I proved this twice last week when buying Loreal wipes and Imperial Leather showergel together...they didnt even work as per the actual 2for1 offer, nevermind the glitch :rotfl::rotfl:
dont want people to misread posts, then complain that the info they are reading is incorrecthoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
