  • You might still be ok.I had something that was out of stock but when i compared it still had the item that i wasn't charged for because it was oos.

Hope this is case for you.

Thank you for that, I do hope so. I have everything apart from my little rice pot. :(

I shall input the receipt and go from there, still in the spirit of Elite if it doesn't work out then I shall have to take it on the chin.

I tell you if it doesn't glitch it will be the last online shopping for Budgie. ;)

I wasn't impressed with the delivery guy though, only had cereal in one carrybag and the others were just loose, he just dumped down his crate by my front door and didn't even offer to help me pick them up.

    Very poor Asda, very poor.

  • Hi,
I did an online shop last week & when it was delivered the rice pot was out of stock too (I selected no substitutes).
Around 2 hours later I was able to check on the APG site & it compared everything I ordered, even though some items were out of stock on delivery.

Oh thankyou I just missed your post as I was typing, so all is not lost yet then. ;)

The rule of 3 is stated on just about every page and, even as a beginner (only been at it since the weekend) I've got that firmly into my head. It is confusing and its easy to make a mistake but a lot of people seem to be making the same mistakes over and over again.

I've been very lucky and the 7 shops I've done have all worked perfectly - but I have had some very funny looks as I walk around the store repeatedly counting how many different items I have in total and sorting everything that glitches out into little groups of 3 in my trolly. People think I'm a dotty old bird talking to myself.

I suspect part of the problem is people using words like "trigger" which makes some items seem magical and different, when in reality they're simply cheap products within a set of matching products; think this might be a contributing factor to some of the miscounting that is happening (especially by newbies). Perhaps if people used language that sounds more inclusive of the cheap products then there might be fewer mistakes!

    e.g.

BOGOF offers buy a multiple of 2 including a cheap one

3 for 2 offers buy a multiple of 3 including a cheap one

    etc.
  • Oh no I have just had my online cereal delivery and the rice pot is out of stock so now it won't glitch :(

    How poor is that?

Sorry will need to catch up and I hope everyone is ok? Hugs to those that need them and hugs to me too.

£31 on cereal and no glitch.

I'm taking it on the chin but only just.

Hi, some people have said that their online shop still compares items that were out of stock or substituted so don't despair yet, give it a few hours and check, they may compare the missing rice pot even though you didnt get it x

    welcome karenrel :)

Anyone else, as this glitch goes on and on, getting a teensy bit excited about the thought that S and W and T will soon be launching some of the Xmas offers, hopefully 3 for 2s or bogofs on chocs, sweets, gifts, booze etc. T already has a few online on 3 for 2 (not a great selection) but hopefully there will be more to follow soon......
I was thinking this today too. Hope it doesn't get fixed, and we can get all our Xmas prezzies cheap!
