Morning all, an A free day for me today, got loads to do
I take it the gel is not going to be a trigger for the skincare now & can't see a cheap item for it either0 -

CIF Power Cream Kitchen
Not recognized on the APG system, but clearly on MSM and Waitys, oddly not on the Asbo site.
And the reason most probably is that Asda are listed on msm as being out of stock of it!!never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

The poster "tbw"above bought 3 cleaning items and a rice - paid the rice at full price and got the cleaning items at 32p.
On Friday I bought only 2 Iams in amongst a bigger shop of other 3 for 2's including the rice - but cocked up my numbers and ending up paying full price for the Iams:eek:
My theory is if you have 3 within a category (cleaning/cakes/cereal) and !!!! up your numbers you will pay full price for the rice. In my instance If I had bought 3 Iams but still cocked up my numbers by buying the wrong number of cakes I think I would have got the Iams at 32p and paid full price for one of the cakes.
This would also explain why people are reporting buying 4 Pilgrims choice (even number - glitch works) and 1 dairylea and paying full price for the dairylea.
So although we can buy randomly across the whole 3 for 2 range, within that shop they are still grouped into categorys and if you muck up your shop you will pay full price not necessesarily for the most expensive but the one that does not belong in a group of 3.
So if you buy
3 Iams
3 cakes
3 cereal
1 rice pot
you will pay full price for the rice pot because it doesnt fit into one of the categories / set of 3 -- Savvy?!!!
If someone can please explain this better you are welcome to do so!!!!
Please note this is just my theory - I'm not saying go out and mess up your numbers deliberatly - although it could be more profitable if it works - you'd get an extra cereal/Iams etc per shop.
Edit - ,my brain is working overtime - this wouldnt have worked on the shampoo / hair gel or the lemon cream cleaner (before we discovered the ambrosia) as they would be part of the same category.
Thank you, I asked earlier how they worked out which product compared full price when numbers didn't add up; this theory looks good! :T0 -

E.g £10 apg shop needs to be more than £100. Asked at c's they had. O idea either.
Anyone else had this problem ?
I've heard some kind story about this before, tbh I heard many made up stories about coupons before. I think it's to do with product money off coupons when they took them without buying the product, the 10% off your shopping rule did come into force once upon a time.
They dont do this now so the c/o is a bit out date, also an apg is a price promise coupon not a manufacturers money off coupon. HthSIMPLES!0 -
Good Morning,
DH has the car again today, so he will be popping to sada during his lunch and on his way home.
I have done a search but no results have come through, has anyone tried the 2 for 1 soup on a Mr S shop? If not I will ask my husband to add 2 to a coke shop and cheese to see if it compares to either.

It seems a little unfair to customers if products don't compare correctly the day before an offer actually changes at their competitors.
I wonder if Asda are aware their Price Guarantee system isn't 100% accurate! :rotfl:
(Hope it's obvious this post is really intended as a joke! That said, it's still a defect that could be described as unfair.)
It compares to prices on the day it was delivered. So it was correct in that respect, I believe. Best do as others suggest and not buy things on changeover day +/- 1.0 -

Why not, Nivea compares against S? Skin-care against T shop should wait, yes, but not skin-care against S. Or am I misinforming (hides from COT)0
