Good morning
Dont know if this is of any use to anyone but Penn State Pretzels are £1.40 in asda and 74p in waitrose just now.
Would that be any good to push a waitrose compare or as a filler?0 -

you need to work in evens to be sure
try 5 cleaning
2 dog food and a rice
or
1 dog
1 rice
4 cleaning would be lower APG
Wrong!!!:)
The final number of items needs to be divisable by 3 as all these are 3 for 2 offers.:):)N1LDA:D0 -

I have a theory about why people are buying charged full price for different items when they dont get their numbers right. Not sure I am going to explain it right though.
The poster "tbw"above bought 3 cleaning items and a rice - paid the rice at full price and got the cleaning items at 32p.
On Friday I bought only 2 Iams in amongst a bigger shop of other 3 for 2's including the rice - but cocked up my numbers and ending up paying full price for the Iams:eek:
My theory is if you have 3 within a category (cleaning/cakes/cereal) and !!!! up your numbers you will pay full price for the rice. In my instance If I had bought 3 Iams but still cocked up my numbers by buying the wrong number of cakes I think I would have got the Iams at 32p and paid full price for one of the cakes.
This would also explain why people are reporting buying 4 Pilgrims choice (even number - glitch works) and 1 dairylea and paying full price for the dairylea.
So although we can buy randomly across the whole 3 for 2 range, within that shop they are still grouped into categorys and if you muck up your shop you will pay full price not necessesarily for the most expensive but the one that does not belong in a group of 3.
So if you buy
3 Iams
3 cakes
3 cereal
1 rice pot
you will pay full price for the rice pot because it doesnt fit into one of the categories / set of 3 -- Savvy?!!!
If someone can please explain this better you are welcome to do so!!!!
Please note this is just my theory - I'm not saying go out and mess up your numbers deliberatly - although it could be more profitable if it works - you'd get an extra cereal/Iams etc per shop.
Edit - ,my brain is working overtime - this wouldnt have worked on the shampoo / hair gel or the lemon cream cleaner (before we discovered the ambrosia) as they would be part of the same category. The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.0 -

I needed something to keep my mind off the fact that today would have been my 13th wedding anniversary, I needed to do something so decided to take SADA for what I felt comfortable with and now have over £70 of APGs but don't feel any better.
Just want to rant and rave at how unfair life can be, how my DH should be here, how much I'm hurting
But hey who cares
Catching up here so you have probably had all the virtual hugs you need but just wanted to let you know that there are people who care xxx0
