oh no......I have just realised on my sainsburys shop with the coke I have picked up the 400g ambrosia...I guess no APG on that one - have to hope the 1st one works in a bit and go back tomorrow to re-coup my losses!!!!! Thank you to everyone who has been posting, it took me some time to figure it all out but got the courage to try it for myself tonight - will report on my APG's (and ask for advice if I've gone wrong!!) as soon as the results are in!
It is the 400 tin of ambrosia for coke, unless the other does workout cheaper. But it will still compare:D

  • now OT of sorts

i remember reading/seeing posted somewhere (think it was here)

    about doing shoeboxes for soldiers.

was thinking maybe my fillers could be something more useful and maybe use for something like this

but no idea where to start or what products are best

    any help

    Please:D

We have somebody locally who collects toiletries, chocolate, sweets etc and they make up parcels for our boys and girls for Christmas. You could try and ring your nearest army barracks and see if they are running such a scheme - hth

Noooooooooo!! Don't say that! I've spent a lot of time writing lists and printing people's lists, reading, reading and more reading, I've even started colour coding my lists depending on which store I'm targeting!! I'm exhausted and I haven't been anywhere yet!! :D:)

haha same as me then, been rading it since it started writing notes only for my darling son to delete it all into cyber space :(

my list now consists of about ten lines, going back reading everything again and restarting from the begining lol

Just about to enter a £193 womble.......... I suspect Jaggy & Ben did better, but we'll see!

They only had £6 of multisaves on that huge spend!

    APG only £1.63, but that's 6 free things at 24p :)

I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this as I am still in catchup mode...BUT........I have been trying to work out WHY certain 3for2 deals mix and match across seemingly unrelated areas eg cleaning and cereals and others dont.

My theory is that ALL the 3for2 deals at eg Waitrose will mix and match PROVIDING they have the same end date on the offer .

the 3for2 at Waitrose for cleaning and cereal and even the shoe polish in post quoted above ALL end on 9/10/12 whereas the dental eg dentyl mouthwash ends on the 4/12/12

SO providing we mix only items that are on offer AND that offer ends on the same date- should work

Does that make sense to anyone - my head hurts from trying to catch up and find some logic in this madness!!!!

Ooh - great theory . Am going to have to go back to my (now numerous) lists and add offer end date. Phew!
I have voucher codes for free places in the Cardiff Half Marathon 2017. PM me for details :)
  • thanks FC

    will take a look

does anyone here already do the shoebox thing?

Yes - there is also one called Link Roumania that have no religious affiliation for those who prefer it this way
