    The problem isn't with Cash Generator here, they have done nothing wrong, you post should be changed to reflect this fact.
  • Make your daughter an ultimatum. Either she buys back your phone or you tell the police she stole it. It might shock her into understanding what she has got herself involved in.
  • This is more for the Marriage, Couples & Family forum, than consumer rights.
    Cash converters don't get any sympathy from me, but in this case they are not at fault. The real people to blame are your daughter and her boyfriend.

    You probably just needed to let off steam, and it's much easier to blame a faceless company than your flesh and blood, I suppose

    As you said in your first post he is a known criminal and there is every chance your phone was sold to feed his habit.
    You are not helping your daughter by being soft.
