    Well RB you made me think as I am unsure of what size to get so we intend to use some of the bricks laying round in the garden to put a chair on to see if the 55mm thickness is enough or two bricks per corner making 110mm may be better - then with Richie's link it looks like I will be sorted - so thank goodness for MSE :j

  • Square or round blanks cut into 4 triangles and screwed into the sub frame of the suite will give you a say 6" lift. Or go as before with a bun. Another alternative is to put a triangle on each corner drill an M8 hole into it and insert a captive nut then screw a bun or a good old Shepherd Castor in for even more height.

    Endless possibilities. If rogerblack has 11 billion tons of spare hardwood .. .. I've a fully equipped workshop with more trade tools than Axminster and I'll be round tomorrow for 5 and a half billion tons - [ I'm not greedy !] of what he has going spare - I'll bring the beer :beer: :D
