Had leavers ceremony today. I now officially have no primary school children and feeling a little old!

Ceremony was delayed as children unable to walk to church due to truly torrential down pour, so was delayed and moved to school hall. so by time finished was nearly 11.30 and little point going to work so took a time owing day. However just after 5pm got phone call that one of my wards flooded so quick outfit change (wearing joggers for spinning class) and drove to work. Took an hour, one road was flooded and when I finally got to work, there was a fire engine blocking my entrance as a car had fallen down a man hole. The ward was definitely flooded (would love to post pics that I took but would probably get sacked!) but all hands to pumps and the ward was a vibrant swell of moppers and clearers, very impressive. So now home with a glass of wine which i deserve!

Was quite shocking when I first arrived. was about 4-6cm deep!! Need to go in 6ish tomoz and sort my office!

Went in just after 6 this morning and calm was definitely restored. Have chucked everything off my office floor into a bin last night, its never looked as tidy! Plus all shiny floors! Deep cleaned and side rooms back in business before lunchtime.

Good day all things considered, have completely emptied my savings account, currently can barely eat but have booked my florida jaunt. Yay!! Just need visa, car hire, insurance, car parking and park tickets...... but have plane tickets and hotel!!

Next big news... Assignment number 4 submitted at 2220, this means only 1 more to go!! one More.... one more!!!! currently drinking wine to celebrate which kinda leads to ...

Have put a pound on this week (according to Mr Nasty on the wii, who makes such a nasty noise when I get on the balance board, he literally grunts!) so clearly could do better. Still having celebratory wine!

So basically stoney broke, still need to spend several thousand, nil savings, fat, drinking wine mid week and still have fairly substantial mortgage but YAYYYYYYYYYYYY
