Little Johnny was in class again.Teacher asked everyone "Can anyone tell me a sentence with the word definitely in it?"

Meg puts up her hand, "The sky is definitely blue."

"Thats not bad, Meg," says the teacher, "but the sky can be grey or red."

Young Sally tried: "The grass is definitely green."

"Good try Sally, but grass can be yellow or brown too!" Suddenly Little Johnny's hand shoots up.

"Miss Brown does a fart have lumps?"

The teacher was horrified. "No of course not Johnny! What are you talking about?"

So Johnny says,"Well then Miss brown, I've definitely !!!! my pants!"

Very hard day at work and feeling tired and grumpy. Rocking by 8.30am and was all downhill from there. Luckily had emergency chocolate in my bag...

On the positive my laptop cable is here and I've very swiftly nipped on and sent my started assignment to myself just in case (although bit late!). Will get working on it as soon as day off next week. Passed last one so ready to get started on next 1.
Managed to negotiate an extra 2 days study leave in light of now being fulltime. Have given myself an a/l day or one of the study leave days every other week till the end of the module too as really struggling with the assignments and feel that need to give myself the best chance i can.

Oooohh paid my holiday money last night. It was all sat waiting patiently in my savings which was lovely and refreshing, and still some savings left. Not quite the amount I want but still better than we've had since we bought the forever house.

Ot shift tomoz money is already allocated as 2014 hols will skip to work...

Sounds like a good plan on the study days etc. Mr T did a degree with the OU and depending upon his manager at the time, he had good support for time off and then no support at all.

Thanks Tilly. At work if i was doing "proper" study days it would all be paid leave but as its distance its very much discretionary. Have explained to my boss that I need time off in week and would prefer to work longer days over 4 rather than 5 to give myself a week day off as studying at the weekend is impossible, so the extra study leave was a compromise. Have decided to use a/l as I can't see any other way. My April a/l was reduced greatly due to time owing and we get 8 weeks anyway so shouldn't make a huge difference to the family. I tend to split every half term and breaks with job share anyway as she has children too.


Temporarily given up on SB as very time intensive with little reward.. more tricks to be learnt me thinks..

Ebay 6 sold but for pence, don't care though as need to clear utility. Finishes tomoz

Hope you don't mind but I've subscribed to your mortgage free journey. You are so motivated and have inspired me to keep chipping away - we are currently at £93,325 and have stopped our regular SO o/ps of £250 pm as they were sending us into overdraft. But I need to get back into paying any extra cash towards it.

You have done fantastically well in such a short time! Looking forward to reading your progress and I'll drop by to say hello soon.

OT shift - 12.5 hours - although today earnt every penny (IMO) due to a significant issues!!
Ebay £7.60 - bizarrely sold fortune mc d for £4.20 which i only put on to prove to the kids i would. Sold 6 items - all carp. However failed to sell any stickies again!!!!

So today everywhere cleaned and tidy, clothes ironed and generally house looks less like a slum. school cheques written and food accounts updated (oldest 2 have squid cards)

DH birthday so probably a chinese tonight and a home movie night , choice as bought him MIB3 and DD2 bought him skyfall.

Have very little left in groceries pot so may have to steal takeaway money from general pot...

Sooo tired but all jobs are done so can have a lazy rest of the afternoon. Allocated myself Tuesday as day off / hit the books day.

Just nipped on to Nectar (main site not adpoints) to see how much I have and did a survey which took about a minute (5 questions) for 50 nectar points. (I clicked collect points and it was on a rolling screen)
