Thanks Fothers. Will be reading yours too.

Find this forum really motivating and always reading about new ways to save those pennies, so i have found a constant inspiration. Also an outlet my think I'd drive everyone in RL mad if i didnt have this.

My nice lie in was very typical of my lie ins, woke at about 5.30, stuck it till about 7 then gave up and got up. DD2 just came downstairs but rest of the house still quiet, ......except cats who as its still snowing quite heavily and have therefore decided its too cold to go out (can't say i blame them), are clearly bored so are running round like nutters, this includes bombing up and down the stairs. .... there they go agsain!!!!!

Work tomoz so have to get my jobs done today (cleaning and school / work clothes). dd1 big concert tonight (plays clarinet in the county band) and have paid for tickets for us all and all the grandparents too, she will be most upset if cancelled but it aint looking good...

Toying with doing some extra ebay, as have 17 freebies left.. my rule has been once a month but the utility room is minging and if list today, they should (if anything bought) all have plenty of time to pay before week Tuesday (post BH) meaning it would be one postie trip only and Im also off that week anyway. Plus folks might be stuck in bored.... and accidentally bid on my carp...???

    Thanks NP.

Every snow cloud has a silver lining, dd1 cool about it, as rescheduled for April and today was going to be back to back taxiing all day, with morning music, rehearsals, fetching grandparents and a late night home so TBH glad of the reprieve, esp as new date is a day time so their grandparents will drive themselves (dont ask!!) and the rehearsal won't involve an additional run.

Did v badly recently on fleabay but have relisted anyway as what the hey. Promised DH will get rid of some stuff regardless if doesnt sell so have "reduced" many items, now 25-50p!!

Spookily still not sold any stickies!!!

Just a thought... Do you have any local selling sites on Facebook? I have been buying and selling on those types of sites, rather than eBay? It's easier for me, cos its cash in your hand and the buyer collects ( had a number of issues with parcels being damaged and lost by Royal Mail last year) I still list on eBay, free listing weekends only, but the majority of it, is done via Facebook now, and of course no final value or paypal fees!

Only £38 over on my groceries which is my best ever, with a total overspend for month of £180 which is the best in months.
Managed to save all my extra OT money into savings so another big boost. Plus my 3 DD's will do a £1500 OP on the 1st, which is quite surprising as didnt think Id do anywhere near there.

May have to update signature now money is in primed and ready position...
