    Fabulous, well done :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Thank you SS, GG, Tilly and Ed. Xxxxxxx

Feel like I can nearly see the finish line on both weight and morgage, as both are now within reach.

    WOW !!! Well done.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Well done. Your focus is awesome.
Do you have plans for the end of either journey?

Think my close family and friends would say that once I decide I want something, I can be quite compulsive. Last year I adamant I was going to get through my masters and dedicated all my spare time to that and therefore I couldn't have done this last year. Before that it was the renovation and it was every spare minute doing stuff for that. I have to reign it in at times as I know I can get too focused. Already had the lecture from both best mates about not going too far.

Last time we were morgage free, we went on an end of morgage celebration holiday to Kenya and did a safari. 2 years later I started getting itchy feet and so we bought this house which was in a really bad way, so then a year renovation and extension. I have a big list of wants once we finish, which are borderline needs. Cars need changing, both 10 this year, New driveway as was never done post work as ran out of money, New fencing as just keep patching up, desperate for new mattress but not sure can wait for that.. plus nice lounge furniture as mines a right mixture of gizits etc.

Last time I lost weight I put it back on over the following 5 years so quite keen not to repeat that.... quite like to get back into cycling and running. Also like to find my abs...
