Absolutely log the situation with the police! If this behavior persists, always notify them and tell them you are fearful of your safety.
Also try to catch him on a camera phone if you can while he is doing this so you can give it to the police.
If the behavior persists he can be served with a harassment warning and if it happens after that he would be taken to court. But the police can't do that without you logging it.0
