Kind of wished I hadnt posted now....

.....because you've not heard want you want to hear and have been told how it is?

Incidentally, you can change the date, the statement date, which in turn will amend the payment date.

Post Removed. Came looking for a little friendly advise - couldnt find any. Left quietly through the back door.

Too bad nobody quoted the OP for posterity.

    Here's #4...

I came looking for advise - I got it, however I didn't expect it to be delivered on the end of a crisp upper cut. Far too many people here are happy to stand on top of their own perfection and preach, happily degrading or making fun out of those that are not perfect and who came here to find some friendly advise. This is probably the most unfriendly forum I have ever seen.

Here you go (Thank you Google cache)
Is this right or fair? My wife has a credit card (Sygma bank...?) that demands payment towards the end of the month. We get paid at the end of the month. The card issuer refuses to change the payment date to match our pay days and consequently charges £12/month for late payment on top of the already ludicrously steep interest charges. Are they taking the mickey or is there a legitimate reason why they cannot move the claim date forwards or backwards to fit in with our payday (which is probably similar to most other peoples pay date)?

Is this a scam to make even more money out of us? Would welcome some comments.

    Thanks,
    Mak.

Strange, I don't see any criticism or mickey-taking on this thread. At least, not until after the OP had thrown their toys out of the pram.

I guess some people are just a little precious.

Ah well, add one to the tally of new posters who get annoyed when they don't get told what they want to hear.
