If I am looking at the right place then only the US sales tax is being paid....you might still have to pay duty over here if caught.

Q) Why am I being charged for sales tax!?

Our company had just started applying sales taxes for all US States on January 2006 due to IRS rule changes in regards to our distributors' headquarters located in each state.

or has it been specifically mentioned somewhere else and I missed it? (It is getting late!)

you would need to get a powercable with a UK plug but the adapter is multi-voltage so should be OK.

Blu-rays are region coded as well, only games are region free.

Could you not buy from Amazon.com for a US (or Japanese) one as they seemto have both there. Ok it may work out a little more expensive, but i think cheaper than buying here?

I have ordered and they have stated that I will receive an email within the 24hours, this has not appeared.

As this is shown as a secure site for payments, I have reported this to my credit card firm, just in case and so that it can be monitored.

If the PS 3 arrives, lovely, if it doesn't, well................. it was worth the try!!!!
