Well, no Sunday lie in here, lol.
So we are up, all in our fleecy dressing gowns and slippers. Tea for me, milk for tots and they are playing trains, I'm watching the news, can't remember the list time I managed that!
Have some washing to sort and put away today, plus I think my plan is also to get the laptop out and sort my photo store. Need to get the summer pics on the hard drive with the others, and get them uploaded and order some prints. Have been meaning to redo our upstairs frames for ages, and get some more pics for the kids rooms of their dad. Ooh and a few more for the scrapbook.
ETA omg I missed the strictly launch. Me and DS gonna watch on iplayerBossymoo

I'll have him.. he helps about the house and the fact he is older than my dad doesn't faze me at all!I'll have him please. Still haven't heard from mine since they closed down Bastion. Sure he's fine. But.cyclingyorkie wrote: »so what's he done to deserve this? He is probably regarded as the most housetrained other half on the thread...He's in my bad books - we went to the pub last night, and there was a chap there who'd clearly had one (or two) too many Riojas bending my ear about nothing of consequence, and Mr LW sat there are DID NOT RESCUE ME!!:(:(:(:(:( And I was trying to work out (this is me, with zero social skills, btw) how to tell this guy to P*$$ OFF AND DIE without offending him, and all Mr LW can do is sit and scowl, and only later do I discover that he's thinking "this chap is trying to steal my woman from me"
:(:( Gods!!! MEN!!! AAAARRRGGGHHH:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I feel so useless/stupid/inadequate.:(:(:(:(:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I was just about to say 'Good Morning', but it's gone!!
Good afternoon
I have been AWOL for most of the week. Really busy with the paid stuff. On the plus side, my gross income this week was almost as much as my gross income for the whole of August! (August was a quiet month, and I had 2 weeks off). The downside of that is, I am shattered!
Yesterday, I went to art, hung out the washing (that DH put on while I was out) and did a big food shop. Apart from that, not much elseDH cut the grass, walked the dog, went on a bike ride with DS and tidied the kitchen - includung clearing all the junk off of the dog cage (a definite hot spot!)
Today he has walked the dog and is off out on another bike ride (DS got a new bike on friday for his birthday - which was in August  - Bad parents!!). I have hung out the washing and now need to do some paperwork (there is always so much of it!!
) Roast chicken for dinner later
Ok - I need to get started. Off I go!0 -

seriously LW - hope you're ok
night ot with friend (50) can remember going to her 21st
I feel REALLY old. I have a friend I've had for over 30 years.:D:o another friend (of mine, now hers, too) was there - known her since about 1982...was my boss for a bit! And another friend of hers was there - I was in the same year as her sister...
*creaks as is clearly ancient*
anyway DS drove himself to football. he hasn't got the hang of my clutch*insert kangaroo smiley*- I have a 'special' learner driver policy running alongside my own one.
caught up with the thread LW - how about a 'get this idiot away from me NOW signal' to use in situations - you know, like dropping a handkerchief or glove in days of yore, because men are rubbish at reading signals...
is gutted as wanted to be on the Wolfman rota :rotfl:
Hope CAT's OH is ok and progressing well...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Yet again I agree with Valli - some sort of prearranged signal that you need rescuing sounds good.... pity your not up to kneeing the oaf in what James May once described as the 'wedding vegetables...':jFlylady and proud of it:j0

We're making blackberry'n'apple jam today - free apples, free blackberries, sugar from the store in the spare room.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Cat-Smith, lets hope OH gets some rest before he has to tackle the next lot of surgery. I despair at what's going on out there but know they're all doing such a good job. Hugs to you.
Well today I've spent hours helping DH with prep for new job tomorrow including cutting his hair. Have also walked the dogs and finally got around to vacuuming and sweeping through the house.
Am going to try to relax for the afternoon, walk the dogs again and enjoy DDs birthday dinner tonight.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
:T Wow, that's a long session of surgery - but so pleased to hear that he's ok.
I was actually kicking Mr LW in the ankle to try and get his attention!:( I agree, we need a pre-agreed signal. :rotfl:@ "wedding vegetables" - hmmm.... fried, boiled or roast?? MWHA-HA-HA-HA:D

Wolfie, is this of any use? Can't believe kicking him in the ankle didn't work. Had mr Wolf forgotten to use his words?
