    Morning all

    Lovely sunny day here.

    Two cuppas slugged
    One cat fight stopped
    Laundry shuffle commenced

Plan is to get all the stuff ready for the car boot tomorrow and I don't want it to take all day.

laundry shuffled, DW loaded, hat knitted for Samuel, Squeak up and eating, Dot in the bin.. 4am she went to sleep in my bed and every time I closed half an eye she bit me or clawed bits of flesh out of me.. she went in her cot at 6:45 for an hour.. I'd say I could just cry but I already tried that this morning and it is too much like hard work.

Best go clean the entire house on my own because this lazy lot won't help and I am too tired to instruct them.

Pigpen - you sound as though you are not in a party mood. I hope things improve by the time you're offering everyone hospitality.

I've discovered the right treatment for my bad back - maximum dosage of ibuprofen for five days, followed by chandalier cleaning on the dining room monstrosity, standing on the table. This morning I am pain free for the first time this week :j.

We're off on a rare day out to see the British Cycling Team on their Round Britain race. Sadly Mr Wiggins is hors de combat with a dicky tummy (just like my dog - carpet scrubbing again this morning, yick.)

Happy Flying Ladies, see you on the other side!

    Morning!

Not a lot going on here. "friend" allegedly bringing birthday card for dd (was 11 days ago, and she did ask for date a week before but obviously cba to post it) but probably will be either late or not come at all. So am not changing plans. If they turn up at lunchtime well kids will be eating and that's that.

Got a birthday party to go to at 1. Better check where it is, lol. And that's it!

Laundry up to date and reasonably clean and tidy. Wooden train track covering floor, but it's linked rather than trashed, so I will concede that.

    Cup of tea I think!

:rotfl: remember the telephone engineer..... aaaahhhh!!! :rotfl:

I still have fond memories of Flynn the milkman!

    Awoke with a banging head - just about abating - !!!!!! - 2nd time in a week!

Heading into town with DD2 - helping her finally get her bank account up and running. She's then meeting a mate and i will potter.

Yesterday I cleared a bookcase in our bedroom for DD1 to have - it's actually one of 2 we have that were in my room when I was a kid. DH has sanded it and will paint it so it fits in with the room's colourscheme! That girl is book mad at the moment!

    hello all

    loads of washing on line

ExH been; congratulated him on his new job so he deigned to inform me what pittance he'll contribute (am on minimum atm - £5 a week for two teenagers). Anyway he told me what he would pay weekly, then pointed out he's on monthly money so will be giving me 4x weekly per month. I remarked that out some months are 5 weekly so brought him in, multiplied the money by 52 and divided it by 12 and suggested he give me THAT monthly. Sorted;)
    Colleague phoned; stuff discussed.
Decorating box, suitacase of cloths and paint tins moved upstairs to go in attic because I won't be getting any more painting done anytime soon.
