Not achieved much since my last post  DD has her friend round supposedly doing homework. I've been up twice and warned them that if I have to tell them to stop messing around again then the friend goes home and DD is grounded for a week. They apparently need the internet to do some of it so doing all the non-internet stuff first.
I've managed to put a wash load on, batch of dishes, washed the worktop in the kitchen that are clear down put a pan of boiling water on to reset the handwarmers and chucked out yet another cardboard box. Also checked on DDs mobile. She's gone through nearly £10 worth of credit in a week   Going to look at getting her a cheap contract one where I can cap the calls etc. I'd hope the novelty would wear off but considering she has 10 calls between her and her friend this week alone, I've lost count of how many texts and they're leaving each other silly voicemails :mad:
Off to make tea while these two horrors (when they're together) do the homework on the internet.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Same as my DS1 - although I think he has been substituted with a clone. Going to college, not answering back, doing homework, getting up with the alarm, not missing the bus... Yes it's an alien imposter;)Just popping in.

Lucky you! I've taught all the boys the "If you sprinkle...." rhyme. They know the rhyme but don't act on it.:(
Roundtuit - your new look sounds great.
Bossymoo - glad the swimming was a success.
My final HHC at 2.30 was cut short as DH came back early from Yorkshire. We walked to school together which was nice, the kids were thrilled to see him pick them up.
The shared bedroom is still a bomb site. I'm working tomorrow and meeting a friend for tea before school pick up. Swimming is right after school so it will have to wait until Saturday morning.
I'm so glad I've kept up with the ironing this week. I've got all today's bits to iron but it should only take about an hour.
It's the town carnival this weekend. The procession is always good to see and the concert in the evening is WhamDuran followed by Masters of Motown. Really looking forward to a good evening on the field with a bottle of wine and good friends.0 -

Evening!
I'm watching tv in bed, as am really cold. Got fleece pjs on again and socks too, lol. Foxy.
Health visitor been, and happy with dd. had a good chat about "stuff" too. She was a good listener. We were one of her first visits when she first moved here just as DS was born and she was a bit shocked at the size of him lol. She also said something kind about dh, that she remembered him stood in the doorway just gazing at his son, and what a strapping fella he was.
After kiddies had tea, we came upstairs and they played whilst I finished off in their rooms. Sorted both their clothes. Two neat wardrobes. Omg dd has so much stuff, and I'm not sure I bought even a tenth of it. But I'm pleased I now know they don't need anything, only slippers.
Just need to do mine now!
Oh by the way, put the summer stuff away, so watch out for those temperatures rising again, lol
Night all, I'm bushed!
