Thanks for the list, I'm struggling but back in for the end of the week - then back on it in a big way for next week. The house looks terrible, but that's because I've been trying to sort it so have pulled everything out of cupboards, etc  Think I've overfaced myself a bit

Hello Ladies - I hope your all well!

Welcome to the noobs, I hope your still with us at this point in the week :)

Well I have achieved the square root of not a great deal this week! Well, not as far as flying goes anyway! Kitchen is ok, but Ive really only been doing the dailies and enough to get through the day!

Am ridiculously busy still trying to organise stuff for uni, but once I have the last of my books etc, Ill have a lot less running around to do and will just be able to get on!!

Finally received the last of my timetable, as had only been given info for Mon-Wed, so now know where I am supposed to be Thursdays and Fridays...:T And by a stroke of luck (or bad planning on their part) I am off tomorrow and Friday!! So I have sorted my list in advance so I can get cracking tomorrow...

Plan is to do it all tomorrow and spend the weekend doing things with little one and reading :D:D:cool:
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

Oh dear, not a good start to the night. Tots were in my bed as DS said he wanted "lots of cuddles all night". So I went to do my last few bits thinking they are both asleep, and I'll get in the spare bed to read for a while. Next thing I know, dd is in with me. And she's still here wriggling and singing. :D

I do hope the late night means for a late morning, as we've no need to be up tomorrow. But I suspect not. ;)

ETA she now asleep, and successfully moved to own bed, and I'm going back to mine. DS can stay and have his cuddles. Crikey it's cold when you move!

  • No flying done again today . This week is just going from bad to worse. I'm running around like a headless chicken and getting nowhere fast. And to top it all off the car broke on me today, we had water and antifreeze pouring out the bottom  . Only just spent £80 on it a couple of weeks ago on rear suspension coils. I hope its not going to be too expensive :(. On a plus side I can out the whopping £14 I made on my ebay sales towards it.

Hope everyone is OK, Just gonna go catch up on the fred with a glass of wine :o

The dog didn't throw up today which is unusual, so no need to nip out to buy a pushchair to park over an upchuck - great housekeeping tip Pigpen, I'm defo using that in future. My house normally looks like a freshly shaved man's chin with paper towels covering all the slicks of sick until I can face carpet scrubbing.

My frog eating involves - amongst other things - using up groceries departing lodgers 'donate'. I found four butter-type cartons in their fridge over the weekend, and have today embarked on pastry-making for the freezer.

I also have a pile of charity shop-acquired cotton skirts, shirts and other assorted freshly-laundered pretties that need frog-list ironing.

Guess who heard herself saying today, 'I'd better go and iron the pastry.'

So, am I right in thinking, that's why super-efficient FlyLadies need to wash their ironing board covers? Could someone please reassure me I'm not the only person who ....
    Better is good enough.
  • Got none of the listy done but I did buy a car  The tax renewal for mine came through the post and its £118 for 6 months tax OMG its gone up £23 since last time, it needs about £600 spent on it to get it running right and its costing me about £15 every 2 days in petrol to get the kids to school so I decided enough was enough, saw a 2nd hand one, got DH to check it over and then bought it, mind you, no-one is getting anything for Xmas cos we spent the Xmas money on buying the car, I'm now trying to get my brother to buy my old one of me :p

Tomorrows list will now include cleaning the new to me car as its covered in white dog hair lol

No flying others than a s/s of the kitchen and unloading / reloading the DW.
1 x trip to Tesco £140 decluttered. I didn't buy any alcohol and can't believe I spent so much on food for 4 days. Prices are going up every time I shop.

I Will stay home tomiorrow and systematically go through the lists. I hope I get as far as kids rooms. The little ones ones only have about a meter squared of carpet visible. Hangs head shamefully

Goodnight all. Expect me to post multiple HHC's tomorrow.
