How do you know it's rubbish? Have you tried following the suggestions yourself?
I don't think it is rubbish, hence my thanks on that post.

The two posters I mentioned have debunked any suggestion creditors can swoop into an account once the card has been reported "stolen".

Yes we try to help people on here, but the majority of us stop at openly promoting ways to take money and not repay it.

Nonsense. The banks are to blame.

Unreal and anyway, who asked for your opinion? We ask for help, not to be judged.

I would go off on one about how redundancies and the recession have hit many but to be frank, it'd be a waste of time.

When you're perfect, then you can criticise. Until then, we really don't want to know. Keep your pig-ignorant abuse to yourself.

    Thank you.

I've had PDL's before, got myself in a mess and got myself out of it. Never blamed anyone buy myself, but it annoys me when people come on here saying things like 'they are trying to take my money, blah blah blah' - No, they are trying to take back the money your borrowed and didn't want to pay back. The banks are not to blame for someone taking out a loan with no intentions of paying back.

Get over yourself and take responsibility for your own actions.

That link is informative, it just describes the process how to go about repaying the lenders when the borrower faces problems with the payments.

Yes, we have two similar posts running in tandem getting polluted by q3estion-mark.

The key relevant (to q3estion-mark) paragraph in the link is:
So you may think "OK I'll cancel my card"

The trouble with this method, as has been experienced by hundreds of posters on this board, is that this still does not cancel the continuous payment authority.
Having said that, we can now cancel the CPA ourselves but we do have to proactively cancel it with the bank.

The problem is people come on here looking for sympathy and don't like the replies they get!

Yes, sometimes what is said is harsh, but a harsh dose of reality is sometimes needed to make people realise that they are the only ones to blame in this.

Wrong they come here in a state of despair looking for help and advice, not some idiot giving them the third degree on how naughty they have been.

Citizens get into debt for many reasons quiet often through NO FAULT OF THERE OWN if only we all had a crystal ball and could foresee the future.

Its my goddam job you fools.

    Unreal.

Ignoring your abuse (which seeing as you like to report people, I have taken your example), what is your "goddam job" because I sure as hell dont want to have you in any way related to customer service for anything I have an interest in.

Customer service is pants. I'm a little higher graded than that!

You'd not come into contact with me. Not unless you worked where I did in which case you'd not want to know me as that's mean you were up to no good somewhere along the lines.

I don't abuse people. I stand up for those that are being abused. You can't expect a free meal card when you shout liar to folks. That's what angered me. The ignorance and arrogance of these perfectionists that probably live on our tax hence they are so holier than thou.

So Audit, Compliance or Permanent Controls (although the latter would be mostly internal).

I work with fraud/compliance/regulatory body investigators during my working day so I would have an interest in the attitude you have towards other people. Especially if you came to me with that attitude in a professional manner.

PS : I live on none of any of your taxes (well probably a select few of these entire forums)
