    The problem is people come on here looking for sympathy and don't like the replies they get!

    Yes, sometimes what is said is harsh, but a harsh dose of reality is sometimes needed to make people realise that they are the only ones to blame in this.

    WHO were you trying to avoid helping get away with it? The OP? I thought this site was for helping consumers in trouble... I posted a link that my be of help to the OP!

    How do you know it's rubbish? Have you tried following the suggestions yourself?

    It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
    Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
    If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
    If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
    If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
