Just been to ASDA Hollingbury (Brighton) in my Lunch Break and picked up a suit with a spare pair of trousers for £40.50. There's not a lot left and usually its all odd sizes. Unbelievably had my size so snapped them up. Even the lady at checkout quoted - "Bargain".

    Cheers for the tip.

Not actually reductions but I went into Asda Spennymoor yesterday (Wed) and bought a 6 - 9 months old t-shirt (Mischievious Monkey) price £1.50 but after checking my receipt at home it had gone through at £1.00.

Think they are only baby sizes though!
    Titch :)

Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.
  • tbh, I wonder how Asda manage to get rid of their old stock. There's just not that much you can reduce a £6 pair of trousers by! Even at the "luxury" end of the range, trousers are only £12. If someone didn't buy it at that price, will knocking off £2, £3 or even £8 really make that much difference?

I've bought most of my clothes in Asda for the past five years and have always been thoroughly delighted with the quality - much better than certain well-known high-street chains I could mention.

In fact, veering only slightly off-topic, a friend who only ever wears designer clothes asked me to buy him some plain white T-shirts. I bought them in Asda and said nothing (thinking he wouldn't recognise the George label). A short time later I met him and he was ecstatic about them, saying they were the best quality he'd ever known and I MUST get him some more. (He's a chef, "Great for work - or going out," he said.) When I told him they cost £3 he laughed and pulled out about £30! I said I was being serious, he gave me £6 and I gave him £3 back: £3 the pair! He's now starting to wear more "budget" clothing, but commented that the George range seems to top the table.

Just been to the Adsa in Cwmbran in the hopes of finding loads of sale clothes for my little ones but the only stuff that was reduced was some lingerie. I did buy some stuff though because they are so cheap in the first place-£3 for a dress for my 6mo!!

Asda in Fulwood ( preston ) they have Cathedral Cheddar double pack at £1 off (£2-98), but it's on the wrong shelf. It's on the "Buy Two" for £3 shelf, so if you complaint customer services they will refund you the difference. :D

Plus their £2 giftcard, as per co. policy I hope ;)

    From their website:

"What happens if I am overcharged?

If you have been overcharged or undercharged in any of our stores we will gladly refund the difference (if you have been overcharged) and give you a £2 Gift voucher for each product you have been mischarged for."
