thanks for the response warmzone did his cavity wall and loft insulation, but really needs a new boiler and central heating, the boiler and heating system is over 40yrs old,
he gets his gas from edf do they do anything in regards to grants or is warmzone the best to go with,
he has also seen some adverts in the local paper offering to do heating systems cheap with grants availible0 -
Is he actually eligible for help from Warmzone or anybody else?

im sure he is eligilbe like i said he got means tested for the cavilty wall and loft, if he cant get a grant can anybody advise on a good company to use and cheap in the newcastle area0

or in October (supposedly) the Green Loan will be active, and he could borrow against this government backed initiative.
In a nutshell:
Bill payers will be able to borrow money and repay it as part of their energy bill....will be able to be spread over many years and the aim is to save energy and therefore reduce money spent on gas and electricity useage.0 -
