Surely by unpacking & actually installing the bath you would be deemed to have accepted the item?0

I expect a 50% pay rise every year but you will have to accept, as I have, that it isn't going to happen.0 -

I appreciate this would be the case normally, but you wouldn't check the toilet to see if it flushed would you? so why would I check to see if the shower screen was a moveable one. It was not described as a fixed one (as others were on the site) so why would that be my priority - to check to see if they had described the shower screen properly? You would check to see if it was damaged, as I did.
I appreciate that I have to expect comments that both agree and disagree with me. But you can see Ive got a "Bee in my Bonnet"
Chill out everyone (including me haha) and have a good day!

it may not have been described as fixed but on the same score it wasn't described as moveable either & as you wanted a moveable one then you should have checked, trading standards will only act if the product is described wrongly & in your case it wasn't it didn't say it was fixed or moveable so it is down to you to check it was fit for your purpose & you didn't,
it's like buying a pizza getting it home & try to cook it in the microwave & then taking it back & complaining that it should have told you on the box that you couldn't cook it in the microwave, if you want one that does then you look for a microwavable pizzaI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
If the toilet didn't flush it would be faulty & that's a whole different scenario.0

At least you've retained your SOH which is a good thing.loopylou0_8 wrote: »This is getting crazy now. I was joking about the apology.
TS are just pouring oil on the troubled waters, patting you gently on the head etc etc.Lets call it a day until I hear back from Trading Standards - who at least have taken my concern seriously.
Tell you what - reread your thread title as saying:
Bathroom Suite, Not as Not Described and see if that old perspective filter kicks in. For as sure as night follows day that is what you are complaining about.
Be interested to hear what TS have to say.
