i am planning a trip to Albany N.Y.
in November..as this will be my first time travelling there, I'm a bit anxious as to how long should I leave between flights, they go from just over 1 hour to 8 hours! I don't want to spend too much time travelling

depends on whether this is one one through-ticket or you are purchasing tickets separately...if on a single ticket then if you missed your connection, the airline would move you onto another flight, with separate tickets, if you miss your connection you would need to buy a new ticket (unless the ticket you buy is flexible)0
