More ebay sales posted on a slow trudge to the post office, can't say I feel better today so it will be a lot of sitting around all day not doing much at all watching mindless daytime tv.
Have just booked car in for service coming in at £15 less than I thought it cost and got it in on my day off too. Really pleased I've done this as I thought I wouldn't be able to afford it and would have to put it off until after winter. Now I've been ebaying I have made enough to pay for it - phew, and get it done before the worst of winter arrives. Here's hoping everything is ok on my little car.
Plus its a no spend day today making it number 10/12 nowfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Decided to make some overpayments to various cc after checking online banking and updated snowball calculator while I'm sat here feeling poorly

Well done on reducing your DFD! Not only that but moving it into 2014!

Well done on reducing your DFD! Not only that but moving it into 2014!

Thank you
Just had a play around on the snowball calculator and found out if I double the extra payments on 3 cards from £20 to £40 and continue to pay more off the other card the DFD reduces by another 2mths to 24mths
Now that's what I call motivation to keep going! Especially when it feels hard going at times that's just what I needed to let me really see once again this can be done and done realistically and manageably.
Once the car is serviced, MOT'd and paid for the proceeds from ebaying will be go strainght onto repaying the credit cards as extra payments along with anything I extra I can pay after the minimum repayments are made.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Thanks maman.
A little more tinkering with the snowball calculator shows me if I stick to the plan for the next 6mths I can bring the DFD closer by a further 3mths - and I will!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

£178/£180 car MOT and service fund - almost there!
Now that's a nice surprise to cheer me up after I felt really fed up today feeling so unwell I thought a chest infection was starting and don't get me started on my temperature fluctuating wildly! Anyway to be on the safe side have managed to get a Dr appt for Monday as at this rate I don't think I'll be back at work on Monday
Time to stop moaning about things now and wait for some more ebay items to end on at the weekend which can go towards the cc repayments if they sell that isfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Another £20 paid off on each of 3 credit cards which actually unbelievably reduced my DFD by another month to 24mths overall on the snowball calculator
I can't believe how this is working - the DFD is coming closer over the last month its closer by 3mths overall! Which all means instead of ignoring it all and constantly paying off the minimum payments in 24mths or maybe even less I can be credit card debt free from where I am now.
I can't get over how much difference a payment of £20 makes when in the past I never thought it would. Chipping away really works.
Anyway, onwards and upwards I go!
On a different note, just about the summon up some enery to try a walk to the post office to post an ebay sale and see how I'm feeling as its hard to tell today.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
hmmm, didn't walk to the post office as felt really bad, but had to go to get that ebay sale posted off. Then called into the supermarket and just got the bare essentials and lots of chocolate of course to keep me going. Was hard going in there carrying that basket around but its done now and hopefully next time I go I'll feel better!
Anyway, £15.74 spent out of £100 Nov GC budget so far using the new system of having a separate purse for this budget and managing it totally separately. Let's see how the new system goes.
Glad now I made that Dr appt - think I'll need it at this rate unless I make a wonderful speedy recovery over the next 2 days, which of couse, I hope I do!
Forgot to add also drew out the weekly treat budget of £10 which I don't think I'll be needing this weekend! Regardless of that I'm sticking to the plan I put together the other week and with that in mind have also transferred the £20 clothing budget across ready for that sale item I'can't live without. I'm going to try hard not to buy anything in November but I'm not too sure if I'll be able to stick to that plan!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
