I think I've decided that my xmas/first project of 2013 is going to be to finish a row of cats

This was a project I started Xmas 2010!

I have stitched about 4 or 5 stitches this evening - simply to finish Ling Ling's tail where I had overlooked that the chart moving on to the next page still contained some stitching to be done for Ling Ling.

I suspect I shall be sticking to one big project until finished with little projects (xmas/birthday cards) on the side throughout the year. This year I have no stitched cards to give out and on that subject, can anyone recommend any books/mags/chart pack designs (or similar) where I can stitch up xmas themed/birthday designs without costing the earth in materials - perhaps using up odds and ends of thread rather than sticking to the designated thread and material list that it suggests.

sweetcarer - you could put in a very serious complaint about her if you wanted - that level of personal talk is HIGHLY out of order.

I know Carolineis rreally busy with little man at the moment but just for everyones piece of mind PLEASE can I ask whoever stitched/ sent ruth_honeys to let me know. I am sure it's the postman being a slow coach but I would HATE for it to have been anyone who no longer interacts with us.
If anyone else hasn't got theirs if you can post and please if the maker could let me know.

Didn't now she'd actually contacted you, was just trying to help out as I didn't want to burden her with things at the moment.
as long as we're all happy the person has sent it I'm happy - would hate for you to go without.

Hi everyone

Ruth_ honey I'm doing the penguin from a recent copy of stitch crazy. should then make a door stop but I'm just aiming to finish then I'll see.

Caroline I hope your son is getting better.

No stitching today have been to busy maybe tomorrow but definitely weekend.

Well, I think from reading Caroline's message that it has been sent, but they were given the wrong address to post to, so it's gone somewhere else but they're sending it on to me. Is that right??? I'm confused...:rotfl:

I found a blurry pic of what I think it is on csc website. Very cute! My DH would love that.

About to start this tonight, fabric and threads sorted, chart copied at work so I can mark off, time to make a start:



Keep warm and safe with the snow everyone (if I get snowed in, I can have extra day stitching :T)

Ruth - it's on it's way to me but hasn't arrived yet. As soon as I get it I will send it on.

Sweatcarer - I also think that your manager is out of order and you should speak to someone in HR about it. My late FIL always should to say "don't let the B's get you down" and as I never heard him swear he actually did say B's.

JCS1 - the cat is really cute - is it for you, I'm sure you've said but can't remember.

LOL ohhh dear - think Ailsb has cleared the matter up. I knew nothing was just trying to help.
